Young Thug anticipated album “UY Scuti” has been delayed to June 2025, slightly later than fans had originally hoped. While the delay might be disappointing to some, there’s already a strong sense that this project will be something special.
NFR Podcast shares the story on their official X (formerly twitter) handle a while ago.
The album’s title, UY Scuti, is a nod to one of the largest stars in the known universe—a fitting metaphor for Thugger’s larger-than-life persona and the celestial scale he’s aiming for with this body of work. It also marks his first full-length release since regaining his freedom in late 2024, following a high-profile legal battle tied to RICO charges.

Young thug has lined up a heavyweight roster of features including Future, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Ken Carson, and Mariah the Scientist. Production-wise, the project enlists top-tier hitmakers like Metro Boomin, Southside, and Wheezy, ensuring the sound will be as massive as the album’s namesake.
The lead single, “Money on Money” featuring Future, dropped in late April and is already making waves.
No specific June date has been confirmed just yet, fans are bracing for liftoff as UY Scuti continues to orbit closer.
